26th April 2011 Not one but two of my sources are reporting that "Cogan's Trade" is filming in the New Orleans area again, so that could explain the fact that Ray has been spotted there, I will keep checking and let you know when I find anything further out. It would also seem that "Cogan's Trade" has now gone back to its original name, so I've changed the title in the Filmography Section once more. Finally found a review for Ray Liotta's newest released film "Street Kings 2: Motor City", in it the reviewer from Blogcritics states "Ray Liotta still commands attention with his usual strong work." Still staying with "Street Kings 2: Motor City" I've been able to find another film still from it, and I'm happy to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. © Unknown 25th April 2011 Ray Liotta was spotted in New Orleans yesterday. He was part of the sellout crowd at the Los Angeles Lakers v New Orleans Hornets game in the New Orleans Arena. Last year I mentioned on Ray Liotta Connection that the field that was used for "Field of Dreams" film was up for sale, nearly a year later it's still for sale, with a price tag of $5.4 million, which would buy the ball diamond field that was used in Ray Liotta's film "Field of Dreams", but also included is a 193 acre farm. Thousands visit this field every year. A reporter has stated they phoned representatives of Kevin Costner, Ray Liotta, etc but got no comments about the idea of any of them buying it. Chris Fisher, one of the directors of Ray Liotta's latest film release "Street Kings 2: Motor City" has gone on record as saying what attracted him to the film was the script, and when he found that Ray Liotta was already on board with making the film, Chris knew he just had to do this, as Ray is one of the few actors he so wanted to work with, and he loves Ray's work. Noticed that the trailer for "The Son of No One", which I have included on this website twice over the past few months was removed from YouTube (check Ray News Archives to see when initially included on here), so been looking for it once more, and I'm pleased to say I've found it, and have included it on Ray Liotta Connection. It is being confirmed that filming is looking to be started in September 2011, and filming will take place in British Columbia, Canada. 19th April 2011 US based Ray Liotta fans will be able to buy "Street Kings 2: Motor City" from today - if you have bought it today, when you've watched it please email me your thoughts on the film - thanks in advance. Still no further release dates announced for other countries yet for "Street Kings 2: Motor City", but I will keep checking and let you know when I know. Monterey Media (a private owned entertainment industry company) and SpectiCast (a fast growing digital private network) have announced today that they are set to launch a Digital Theatre Network. They are to start delivering digital feature films to venues right across America, and this all starts on 1st May 2011. Monterey Media are looking to bring independent films to so many independent cinemas, performing arts centres, community centres, etc. They will deliver HD content using state of the art internet protocol technology. What's all this got to do with Ray Liotta???? Well it would seem that one of Ray's films will be one of those distributed by them, however at this stage it has not been announced which one, but as always I will keep checking, and let you know when I know. Well it would seem that there is a further part to this interview, and I've been lucky enough to include it on Ray Liotta Connection for you hopefully to enjoy. It would also seem that this has only been released a few days ago, so it's great to be able to share it with you, and to still find information coming through from the Sundance Film Festival, which took place in January 2011.... Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 2nd April 2011 Well for April Fools Day yesterday a story was released on the Internet by a newspaper that stated Warner Bros were going to remake the iconic film "GoodFellas", didn't mention the story on here yesterday because I had a feeling it might be a 'April Fools joke', and it turned out to be exactly that, which is good because that film can never be made better than the original one starring Ray Liotta. Ray Liotta's film "Snowmen" is part of the Florida Film Festival 2011, and is due to be shown on 9th April 2011 (12pm), at Regal Winter Park. There is talk that "Snowmen" might not be released in cinemas worldwide but go straight to DVD, however nothing has been confirmed about that yet, so I will keep checking and as always I will let you know when I know. As previously mentioned on Ray Liotta Connection, "Street Kings 2:Motor City" will be released on DVD/Blu-Ray later this month in the USA, as yet no other country release dates have been announced, but I will keep checking. MARCH 2011 30th March 2011 Well Ray Liotta Connection was one of the first website's to mention about the title change of Ray Liotta's current film project "Cogan's Trade" which is now known (so I was informed) as "Killing Them Softly", it would appear that more sources are now starting to call the film by this title, however of course the title of the film could change back again, or even become known as something totally different, as always I'll keep checking and let you know when I know anything further, for now I will refer to it using new title. I recall that Ray Liotta's film "The Entitled" had a title change about three times, but then went back to its original title so it is not uncommon for that to happen. It would appear that "Killing Them Softly" aka "Cogan's Trade" is still filming in the New Orleans area, and it would seem that Ray Liotta was once again spotted in the area yesterday too. Also there has now been a release date for "Killing Them Softly" aka "Cogan's Trade", and you can find that by visiting the Diary part of Ray Liotta Connection. Ray Liotta was spotted not once but twice yesterday, by not one but two different people in the New Orleans area, my thanks to those people for taking the time to let me know. So if Ray Liotta is still in New Orleans does this mean that his latest film project is still filming, I'm searching for a filming schedule and will let you know. I've also seen an interview with an actor who lives in Los Angeles that stated that on that morning in his local coffee shop he saw Ray Liotta having coffee and reading a script, the article was published today but there is no indication of when the interview took place. © Unknown 24th March 2011 It would appear that the storyline/plot for "Bad Karma", Ray Liotta's next film project has changed slightly, so to read the new revised version please visit the Definitive Film Guide, link found in Filmography Section. I can further confirm that it would appear "Bad Karma" will start filming in the Canada region in May 2011, will keep checking for any further updates on that and let you know when I know. It is being stated that Ray Liotta is still in the New Orleans area filming with Brad Pitt, though some of my sources are no longer listing where exactly in New Orleans filming is taking place, however as previously confirmed it's all being filmed in the New Orleans area, so it could just be that the actual location in that area has not been disclosed, again will keep checking for any further information on that and will let you know when I know. Tumbleweeds Film Festival will start on 1st April 2011 and end on 3rd April 2011, in Salt Lake City, and Ray Liotta's film "Snowmen" is scheduled to be one of the films being shown during this film festival for children and youth, at the time of my typing this the date of when "Snowmen" would be shown was not available. Talking of new films, Ray's film "Things Fall Apart" had its world premiere yesterday at the Miami Film Festival, the feedback so far has been very positive which is great to hear, well done to Ray and all the cast of that. There's no mention that Ray Liotta attended the world premiere yesterday, but of course he is in the New Orleans area filming "Cogans Trade" at the moment. I check on a daily basis to bring you the latest on Mr Ray Liotta, so please keep checking back here often. 1st March 2011 It is being reported today that scenes for Ray Liotta's latest film "Cogan's Trade" will be filmed in The Bywater area of New Orleans this Friday, and set up will be early morning, and local businesses and residents in the local area have been advised by those involved. It is further stating that the day of filming will be from 6am to 8pm (though the times may vary), and that the NOPD and their own security will be on hand throughout the day. Also announced today is the fact that a "Street Kings/Street Kings 2: Motor City" Blu-Ray set will be released on 19th April 2011 - at this moment it will only be available for sale in the US, but will keep checking for release dates in other countries. If you find Ray Liotta filming on your street, if you are able to do so without disrupting filming of course, please take a photograph and email it to me, you will get a thanks on the website aswell as seeing your photograph on here too - thanks in advance.
