This part of Ray Liotta Connection allows you to read some “old” news that featured on the Ray News part of this website previously. OCTOBER 2011 31st October 2011:TAKE TWO (later in the day) I've been able to find a podcast, which features an interview with Ray Liotta, which seems to have been done last week, really great to listen to Ray being Ray. If you'd like to hear it, please click on the link below - please note there is some quite strong language before and after Ray's interview. Since the early morning update earlier today, I'm thrilled to have found a few photographs of Ray Liotta from last night, when he received his much deserved "Lifetime Achievement Award", and I'm so pleased to be able to include them right here on Ray Liotta Connection. The owners of the "Field of Dreams" in Iowa have found a buyer, and the plans for it are more baseball and softball fields along with an indoor training dome, next to the movie set field which is visited by thousands every year. Another great Ray Liotta interview now, this time he is talking about "The Son of No One", and if you'd like to read it please click on the relevant link below. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.

© Savannah Film Festival PODCAST FEATURING RAY LIOTTA INTERVIEW RAY LIOTTA INTERVIEW TALKING ABOUT THE SON OF NO ONE 31st October 2011:7am GMT Just hours ago Ray Liotta received his 'Lifetime Achievement Award' for his work in films - a MASSIVE WELL DONE and CONGRATULATIONS to Ray Liotta!!!! It is being reported that earlier yesterday Ray had stated, that "while I'm pleased to be recognised, it isn't awards that keep me going. I love what I do". "The Son of No One" was screened after the award was presented to him. More quotes have been released from Ray during his Master Class in acting at the Savannah College of Art and Design yesterday, on the film industry he stated "It's one of my favourite things to do". And the advice that he gave to anyone wanting to be in acting "stay in school. Study, keep studying. Knowledge is like a muscle, the more you use it, the stronger it gets.". Other quotes from Ray at the festival have been so far: "The deeper you feel something, the better the acting" and "You didn't mention Operation Dumbo Drop. It was a good movie, just a bad title" (quotes from Savannah Film Festival, and Ray's words). No photographs have been released of Ray Liotta receiving his award but I'll keep checking, and if I find any I'll do my very best to include them on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 30th October 2011:TAKE THREE Just found this video clip, which I'm pleased to be able to include on Ray Liotta Connection, that shows how those photographs are taken at Film Awards, etc....Ray Liotta is included in the clip, which is the main reason why it's on here, and it is from the 15th Annual Film Awards Gala held on 24th October 2011 (see previous news for more details, photographs from that night). Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
30th October 2011:TAKE TWO Ray Liotta has toured the SCAD Museum of Art this morning, and is giving some great advice, and telling some great stories about acting for the students at the SCAD Museum, during his Master Class, which is taking place right now. Some quotes straight from Ray Liotta during his Master Class: "I'm a gym rat of acting", on voiceovers: "we're playing pretend. You're a goodie, I'm a baddie", playing Frank Sinatra (in the film 'The Rat Pack') "He's a guy from Jersey who curses. I can do that one. At first I was afraid of it", "You have to fight against being typecast", "They always remember the bad guys", Ray's thoughts on art and passion "A true artist is one who feels it deeper than the others", and "There's no right or wrong way. If you have a relationship use it." (all quotes courtesty of Savannah Film Festival, and of course Ray Liotta, because they are his words). A photograph of Ray has been released from this, and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
© Savannah Film Festival 30th October 2011 Ray Liotta arrived in Savannah yesterday, but just in the nick of time as his plane was late arriving. I'm thrilled to have been able to find a photograph of Ray Liotta taken on The Red Carpet last night, and that I'm able to include on Ray Liotta Connection. A short video was also made of the opening yesterday of the Savannah Film Festival, keep watching because there is a glimpse of Ray in it, so it's worth including on here. Tonight's the night when "The Son of No One" has a special screening at the festival, and this is after the Ray Liotta tribute, hope you'll join me in wishing Ray Liotta all the very best!!!! Another review has been published about "The Son of No One", and it states that the character that Ray portrays maybe sympathetic or just looking for a scapegoat that makes all the bad press vanish. Ray was spotted last night attending the screening of "The Artist", which is the film that has opened this year's Savannah Film Festival. Still staying with the festival, I've been able to locate a photograph showing the front of the Trustees Theater, which will hold the special screening tonight of "The Son of No One", and I'm thrilled to be able to include on Ray Liotta Connection. © Savannah Film Festival 29th October 2011 Official film stills from "The Place Beyond the Pines" have been released, sadly none featuring Ray Liotta....yet, but I'll keep checking, and if any do I'll try my best to include them right here on Ray Liotta Connection. I've heard, via my 'Ray-dar' that Ray Liotta is attached to another new film, this one is called "The Driver". I've added details to the Filmography Section on here, but I'm going to keep checking for complete confirmation on this, as not many of my sources are mentioning it, however it is being reported that filming has yet to commence, and it will be filmed in the Pennsylvania area of America, anyway I'll keep researching and let you know if I find anything further out about this new mentioned film. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
© Andrew Evans/PR Photos 25th October 2011:TAKE THREE I've found an article about Ray Liotta, which was in response to Ray being at the awards ceremony last night, it's the same newspaper that did 'that' article a few months back, it's a little more complimentary about our favourite 'goodfella' this time, I've included the link below but of course it is your choice if you decide to read it or not. As with the previous article of some months ago, you can leave your comments, read mine on there too, just click 'view all' and look for Andrea H, England and please if you agree with me, click on the green arrow and rate it. © AP 24th October 2011 After the announcement on here last week about Ray Liotta being attached to the film "The Iceman", it has been confirmed that another actor that was due to be in this has pulled out, however after the rumours of "now it won't be made", they have been squashed, as there is another actor being lined up, and yes Ray Liotta is still in this cast. It has been mentioned that when the rights to "Cogan's Trade" were available for sale it received significant sales. The AMC River East will be showing, in an early exclusive, Ray Liotta's film "The Son of No One" on 3rd November 2011, the following day it is released in US cinemas, there is no mention that any of the cast will be there at this time on the early showing. © MPower Pictures 23rd October 2011 "Bad Karma" is still set to have its world premiere at the 32nd American Film Market in Santa Monica next month, but at this moment in time it is not confirmed if Ray Liotta will attend. More reviews have been published for Ray's most recent released film "Snowmen", and it has been stated about Ray "Liotta's fierce sensitivity shines through in his support for his son", "Supporting cast is stellar, especially talented Ray Liotta". Ray has been seen out and about over the weekend again. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 21st October 2011 Today's the day for American based Ray Liotta fans to see "Snowmen" at selected cinemas (see previous news updates for more details). © MPower Pictures 19th October 2011:TAKE TWO I've done some more research, and have come across enough information that confirms that Ray Liotta is attached to another new film, great to see Ray in such demand!!!! The film is called "The Iceman", and for more details please go to the Filmography Section and select the Definitive Film Guide link. At this moment there is no filming schedule for this film, but I'll keep checking and let you know if I find one. It's also getting nearer for "Snowmen" to be released in selected cinemas, before being available to buy on DVD next month (check out Diary for more details). Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 19th October 2011 As mentioned over the past few days here on Ray Liotta Connection, Ray was a guest of "Conan O'Brien's" last night, and I'm so thrilled to be able to include Ray's interview from that show right here on Ray Liotta Connection - enjoy!!!! I'm also thrilled to be able to include a few photographs from last night's show of Ray Liotta too - enjoy!!!! At last, two clips have been issued from Ray Liotta's soon to be released film "The Son of No One", one is a scene in which Ray Liotta is the main player, so I'm thrilled to be able to include that on Ray Liotta Connection!!!! I'm hearing via my 'Ray-dar' that Ray is attached to another new film, I'm going to do some more research on this, but don't be surprised if you see a further update on here later today. © Meghan Sinclair/Team Coco 18th October 2011 Thanks to every single person who visits Ray Liotta Connection, earlier today this website has welcomed its 39,000th visitor, your support is overwhelming and so much appreciated by me!!!! Further to announcements already made on here about Ray Liotta being an honoured guest at the Savannah Film Festival. It is being reported that he will be among three other actors who will be honoured by the 14th Annual Savannah Film Festival - well deserved Ray Liotta, who is truly a very talented and versatile actor. "The Son of No One", another Ray Liotta film has been named one of November's highlights, this is due to be released in cinemas in USA early next month (check Diary for more details). As another of Ray's films is due to be released, this time on DVD towards the end of next month (see Diary for more details), it is getting more reviews being published.... "Featuring familiar faces like the incredibly talented Ray Liotta, this film is filled with the wonderful messages of forgiveness, redemption and how important true friends are" (excerpt from patriot.us). A "Celebrities Unite to Knockout BULLYING" is to take place at the Hard Rock Cafe in Times Square, New York on 20th October 2011. During this event guests will also be able to enjoy a sneak preview of "Snowmen", which is described as a heartwarming film. 'BULLYING - We're Kickin' It' is a campaign designed to knockout bullying, and it is a national campaign across America, and the event taking place is supported by MPower Pictures. Just to confirm, that as of this moment, there is no mention that Ray Liotta will be in attendance at this event, but I'll keep checking and let you know if that changes. As mentioned yesterday on Ray Liotta Connection, Ray will be a guest on "Conan O'Brien" tonight, I've just found out that not only will he be talking about "Snowmen" but also "The Son of No One"....if you watch this Ray fans based in America, please let me know all about the show, thanks!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 17th October 2011 As mentioned previously on Ray Liotta Connection, Ray's film "Snowmen" will have a limited cinema release in some parts of USA on 21st October 2011 (for more details check earlier news updates). Ray Liotta fans based in USA, I've just received word that Ray Liotta will be on "Conan O'Brien" on TBS tomorrow (18th), and will be sitting down to talk about "Snowmen" (my thanks to Cinedigm Entertainment for sending me the information about Ray's appearance tomorrow, I appreciate it). Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 16th October 2011 I've been checking and "Stealing Sam" has not yet been filmed, it would also seem that there will be a trilogy, but it is not confirmed that Ray Liotta will be in all three of them, but he will be in "Stealing Sam". Staying with this film, there still is no filming schedule available for this, I keep checking, and when I find anything I WILL let you know on Ray Liotta Connection. A podcast that includes an interview about "The League" was released a few days ago, I've already mentioned earlier this month on here that Ray is to be in one of the episodes in this new series, but the podcast itself only mentions Ray's name and nothing about the role he will play in the episode that he will be a guest star in, so not included podcast on Ray Liotta Connection. "Blow", a Ray Liotta film, has been named one of the 'Great Drama Movies of all Times' by TRCB News, and as Ray Liotta fans, we know that this actual film is based on a true story. 'Harper's Bazaar' magazine have conducted a photo shoot in celebration of Martin Scorsese's groundbreaking film career, and has got various actors to pose for famous scenes from some of Martin's films, and yes "GoodFellas" is represented of course. However, it is not Ray Liotta, Robert De Niro and Joe Pesci who are posing for the photograph, shame it would have been nice to see them all together again. Ray Liotta has been spotted out and about again over the past few days, so it really is looking like he is taking a very well deserved break between filming. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 13th October 2011 With the announcement yesterday that "Bad Karma" is to have its world premiere next month (see below for more details), the full storyline has been released, and I've added it to the Filmography Section here on Ray Liotta Connection (look for the Definitive Film Guide link). Ray Liotta has been spotted out and about again, possibly having a break from filming after doing back-to-back films. I'm hearing via my 'Ray-dar' that there was a press screening yesterday for Ray's film "Snowmen", not seen confirmation of where and if it took place, just that it was mentioned. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 12th October 2011 Announced TODAY, in fact just moments ago: The 32nd American Film Market has announced that they will screen 395 films, of which 65 will be world premieres, at the 2011 AFM being held 2nd November 2011 - 9th November 2011 in Santa Monica, CA. The great thing is that one of the world premieres will be Ray Liotta's film "Bad Karma", fantastic news!!!! Hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that the trailer for another of Ray Liotta's new films "Breathless" will be released soon, so I'll keep looking for that and will hopefully be able to add it to Ray Liotta Connection when it comes out, so please keep checking back on here. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 11th October 2011 Further to my announcement earlier this month, I've now seen more confirmation that Ray Liotta WILL be attending the Savannah Film Festival later this month, he is on the list of 'visiting celebrities'. Still no word of when filming will begin on "Stealing Sam", but I will continue to look and let you know here on Ray Liotta Connection when I find anything further out. During my daily research I've come across a clip from Ray Liotta's most recent released film "The River Murders", and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 9th October 2011 Found confirmation that Ray Liotta is still attached to the film "Stealing Sam". Originally this was due to be filmed in Australia, but it would seem that it will now be shot in America, I'll keep checking for a filming schedule, etc and will let you know right here on Ray Liotta Connection. Also you never know the filming location may well change again before it starts. I'm hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that Ray Liotta's film "The River Murders" is being stated as one of the best selling films on iTunes. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 7th October 2011:TAKE TWO Just found that Ray Liotta's film "Little Pieces" has now returned to its original name of "Breathless", so I've now updated the Filmography Section. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 7th October 2011 Thanks ever so to every single person who visits Ray Liotta Connection, yesterday this website welcomed its 38,000th visitor, I'm overwhelmed and humbled by your support!!!! The Post Chronicle has done an article on Famous Adoptees, and Ray Liotta is mentioned in this. As we all know, Ray was adopted when he was six months old by his mum and dad Mary and Alfred Liotta. About being adopted Ray stated "it has affected me since I was a little kid. When I was younger I felt like damaged goods. Now I realise I was not being selfish. Most people in their situation give up on their children so the kids can have a better life. It's not because they don't want them". It would seem that Ray Liotta has inspired a new recipe....while he was in Schenectady, N.Y, he visited a restaurant there, and it's being reported that he pointed to a chicken and broccoli dish, which was on the menu and was made with garlic and olive oil base, but said he wanted a twist to it. So the chef, Guy Sementilli changed the recipe just for Ray, and added sausage and red pepper flakes, among other things to intensify the flavour of the dish. It would seem that Ray loved it, and it is stated that he returned several times while in the area filming "The Place Beyond the Pines" (excerpt from ctpost.com). Michael Rodrick was interviewed and talked about his role and time on the set of "The River Murders". Of what it was like being on set of this film he stated "Ray Liotta was great. An atmosphere where you were free to create, push boundaries. We talked about Jersey City a lot, I was born and raised there, Ray's dad had an auto parts store there near my house. Ray was also great to me during the audition, and I'll never forget him telling me to simplify my performance, great advice". Of Ray Liotta he further went on to say "Ray is a star, he is always right there in the moment, and he knows how to 'bring it'. He is also elevating that moment, vibrating the performance to a much higher level (excerpts from fearnet.com). I'm thrilled to be able to include on Ray Liotta Connection, the actor demo reel of Rachel Lien, the reason why is because she is in Ray Liotta's film "Ticket Out", and some clips from this very film are included in it. Have to say that "Ticket Out" really does look like another awesome Ray Liotta film, just wishing release dates would be announced including one for the UK. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 5th October 2011 "The Entitled" has received more published reviews and it's stated that it "has enough twists and turns to keep you interested", "Ray Liotta is good in his role of a man of power rendered helpless", "the real tension occurs amongst the hostages fathers, they play off one another incredibly well". Still staying with this film, "The Entitled" has this week been released on DVD in Canada. "The River Murders" has had another review published too, and in this it is stated "this is one of Ray Liotta's best performances". The Canadian channel "Dusk" will be showing FREE Supernatural films leading up to and including Halloween, and actually on 31st October 2011 "Identity", another great Ray Liotta film will have its premiere on the channel. I'm hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that "Yellow", another of Ray Liotta's films is set to be released at some point next year, I will keep checking for any release dates and let you know on Ray Liotta Connection. Just announced: "Snowmen" will open at following places on 21st October for a limited period....Phoenix, Clovis, San Jose, Orange, Poway, Highlands Ranch, Lawrenceville, Barrington, Noblesville, Leawood, Harvey, Chesterfield, New York, Oklahoma City, Memphis, Dallas, Houston, West Jordan and Alexandria, please check local press for details of which cinema(s) this film will be shown at. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 4th October 2011 Well I've been sent confirmation that my memory did indeed serve me correctly, Ray Liotta is NOT in the film "13" (my thanks to Bjoern for letting me know after watching it, I appreciate this). WhatCulture.com have listed their top most desired films from the TV series "Entourage", and "Aquaman" is listed, this fake film starred Mandy Moore, Sharon Stone, James Wood and Ray Liotta. Another review for Ray Liotta's "The River Murders" states "nice surprise, it delivers more than you might imagine". It's been announced today that Ray Liotta will be a guest star in the new season of "The League" on FX. "The League" is a comedy that follows a group of old friends in a fantasy football league, who care so deeply for each other that they use every chance they get to make each other miserable, and the new series starts on 6th October 2011 on FX Network, but only available to watch in USA at this time. However, I have been able to find a photo of Ray Liotta from his appearance in "The League", and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.

I'm now hearing via my 'Ray-dar' that "The Place Beyond the Pines" is in the post production stage. "Something Wild", the film that saw Ray Liotta in his first starring role will be shown on Friday 30th September 2011 and Saturday 1st October 2011 at The Music Box Theatre in Chicago, and on both nights the film will start at 11:59pm. Still not found a release date for Ray Liotta's film "Ticket Out" yet, this had its world premiere last year so really hoping that cinema release dates will follow soon, I'll keep checking and let you know right here on Ray Liotta Connection if anything is announced. I've been able to find a video of Ray Liotta and the rest of the cast of "Snowmen" talking about this film, and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 27th September 2011 Wiseguy, the book that inspired Ray Liotta's film "GoodFellas" was first published 25 years ago, and to mark this a 25th anniversary edition is on sale now, and this includes a new foreword from directer Martin Scorsese, as we all know Ray Liotta played the role of Henry Hill in this film. I've been able to find a great interview in which Ray Liotta talks about his film "Slow Burn", and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. I've also found another great Ray Liotta interview in which he talks about his role in the film "Date Night", and once again I'm thrilled to be able to include it right here on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
26th September 2011 Earlier this month on Ray Liotta Connection I mentioned that I'd heard TNT were going to do a mafia drama called "Emperor", and it was being looked upon as a starring vehicle for Ray. Well it would seem that Ray is being looked at for this, as it is being reported that it's a potential Ray Liotta vehicle at the cable channel, so I'll keep checking and if/when I find anything further out I will let you know on here. Something from a few years ago now....Ray Liotta took part in a "Funny or Die" spoof chat show called "Shack Talk" when "Observe and Report" was being released, great acting, and I'm thrilled to be able to include it right here on Ray Liotta Connection....enjoy!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
25th September 2011 I've been reading that "Things Fall Apart" is being released on DVD, with the old name being used I did some research on it, I've found that "All Things Fall Apart" will NOT be going straight to DVD, but it is being stated that it will be in cinemas in the early part of 2012. The Ray Liotta film "Field of Dreams" has been named as one of the films that defines the spirit of baseball. Still finding reviews for Ray Liotta's film "The Entitled", and it's stated "filmmakers do a terrific job keeping you on the edge of your seat until that final 'gotcha' moment arrives". Yesterday Ray Liotta Connection welcomed its 37,000th visitor, thanks ever so to every single person who visits this website, your support is so much appreciated by me!!!! Found some more film stills of Ray Liotta in "The River Murders", and I'm thrilled, as always, to be able to include them on Ray Liotta Connection!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.

© Sony Pictures 23rd September 2011 Filming is still ongoing in Schenectady for "The Place Beyond the Pines", but no mention of Ray there now, which would confirm that he has now wrapped his part of the filming up, and of course Ray has been spotted out and about in California this week. Time.com have compiled a list of best sports films ever, and Ray Liotta's "Field of Dreams" is featured in it. Another review for "The River Murders" has been published in which is stated "Liotta brings his usual intensity to the role". Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 22nd September 2011 Still seeing reviews being published for Ray Liotta's film "The Entitled", and it has been called "such a satisfying thriller". I'm hearing that "Muppets from Space" is coming out on Blu-Ray, of course Ray Liotta had a role in this. There are some reviews now published about "The River Murders", Ray Liotta's latest film to be released on DVD, and the verdict is...."the central plot twist turns out to be surprising", "Ray Liotta is always electrifying and enjoyable", "it's fast paced and keeps you guessing", "Ray's performance is convincing and solid", "Ray Liotta does a decent job". Hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that you can buy to download "The River Murders" on ITunes. Also I'm hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that Ray Liotta is now back in Los Angeles, so it's looking more like his filming on "The Place Beyond the Pines" has wrapped. Being reviewed again is Ray Liotta's first starring role in a film "Something Wild", of Ray it is stated "the real treat is Ray Liotta, he is very good at playing this sinister and dark character. You never know what he's going to do next, but how he handles this character and makes him seem like a true villain is what really makes the rest of this film work" (excerpt from review on boomtron.com). I've noticed that the new "The Son of No One" trailer that I added earlier this month has been removed from the place I found it, but thankfully I've been able to locate it again, and I'm thrilled to include on Ray Liotta Connection once more!!!! On this date 18 months ago, Ray Liotta Connection was launched, thanks ever so to every single visitor for your support!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 21st September 2011 Finally been able to find some film stills from Ray Liotta's recent released film "The River Murders", and I'm thrilled to be able to include them on Ray Liotta Connection. It has been reported today that when the Tropical Storm hit Schenectady, producers saw the Mohawk lap at the tyres of the trucks loaded with equipment, what bothered them was not that equipment was in them but film representing two days of filming scenes with Ray Liotta, Ryan Gosling, Bradley Cooper and Eva Medes were in the trucks too. Thankfully they were able to get a boat, and get the film to high ground, and managed to save the magic that had been captured (excerpt from timesunion.com). © Sony Pictures 20th September 2011 "The River Murders" is now available to buy on DVD in USA/Canada only from today, and to mark the release I'm thrilled to be able to include, right here on Ray Liotta Connection, a "Behind the Scenes" video clip of this film....really looks like another awesome Ray Liotta film!!!! Still staying with this film, I've also been able to find the DVD artwork for this now, and I'm thrilled to be able to include this on Ray Liotta Connection. I'm hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that Ray Liotta may now have wrapped his filming on "The Place Beyond the Pines" as he has been spotted out and about and he's not in New York, I will keep you posted and see if I can find confirmation that Ray has indeed completed filming, and I will let you know on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
© Sony Pictures 19th September 2011 The countdown is nearly over...."The River Murders" is released tomorrow on DVD in USA/Canada only. Still staying with "The River Murders", as previously mentioned right here on Ray Liotta Connection it is showing at the Magic Lantern Theatre in Spokane, which of course is where this film was shot, it will be on there for one week only. USA based Ray Liotta fans can enjoy watching Ray Liotta in "GoodFellas" which will be showing on AMC at 5pm EDT, 2pm PDT and 11am HST (my thanks to Shelly for the TV information, I sure appreciate it). On the 19th September 1990 "GoodFellas" premiered in American cinemas, and was hailed as one of the best Mafia films ever made. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 18th September 2011 As previously mentioned on Ray Liotta Connection, "All Things Fall Apart" was screened at the 15th Annual Urban World Film Festival in New York last Friday, well it is being reported that 50 Cent was there and talked about his passion for this film, there is no mention that Ray Liotta attended. I'm hearing something that is rather interesting, hopefully you'll agree too....TNT has a mafia drama "Emperor" in the works, and this was developed as a potential starring vehicle for Ray Liotta, so is Ray going to be in this???? I've not heard anything about it until now, or heard about him filming, or going to film this either, so it could be that due to his busy schedule he wasn't, or isn't able to do it, however I will keep checking and let you know if I find anything further out here on Ray Liotta Connection, because this could be something that has slipped under all my sources, and my 'Ray-dar'.... The On-line Community for Ray Liotta Fans, which is run by myself on Twitter, has now gone back to its original name, so no longer will it be known as 'Loyal 2 Ray Liotta' (though we all still are), but 'Ray_Liotta_Fans', hope that stops any confusion. Not long to go now before "The River Murders" is released in USA/Canada only, hopefully then it will be released around the rest of the world too.... Ray Liotta appeared in a short film for BMW called "Ticker", no longer availabe on their website to watch, and while Ray only had a small, non-speaking role, it's worth watching. Great news: I've been able to find it, and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 17th September 2011 To mark the release of "The Son Of No One" in selected cinemas soon (see Diary for more details), I'm thrilled to be able to include the new film poster for this right here on Ray Liotta Connection. At gamezone.com they have announced their Top Five PlayStation 2 games, and at number two is "Grand Theft Auto: Vice City", which of course Ray Liotta was involved in. Still staying with this, I'm thrilled to be able to include a video which showcases the game too. The Times Union interviewed two locals who became film extras in Ray Liotta's still being filmed "The Place Beyond the Pines", in the interview Mike Purdy recalled the scene in which he played a strip club patron at the Shenanigans Gentlemen's Club in Colonie last month. He stated that he "threw himself into a role that had Liotta grinning", Mike got 20 lap dances AND got paid for it. He further explains that he was sat next to Ray Liotta and Bradley Cooper in a scene that was shot in the club, and confirmed "it was incredible watching Liotta close up, he's amazing. He took over that whole room". They also give a glimpse into what type of scene was being filmed that day....Ray Liotta and Bradley Cooper have a heated argument in the club and also Ray fights with a patron too (excerpt from timesunion.com), sounds like it's going to be another awesome Ray film!!!! The countdown has well and truly begun for Ray Liotta fans in USA/Canada, as the release on DVD of "The River Murders" is next week!!!! 16th September 2011 Pre sales at the Toronto International Film Festival for Ray Liotta's currently being filmed "The Place Beyond the Pines" are going great, and deals already locked with buyers in the UK, Spain, France, etc....no surprise with that news!!!! The original trailer for Ray Liotta's film "The Son of No One", which was released towards the start of this year, I was thrilled to include it then, and because this film is finally going to open in cinemas very soon, it's back out again, so I've included it on Ray Liotta Connection once more, looking like another great Ray film!!!! Finally....."Street Kings 2:Motor City" is to be released on DVD here in the UK (please visit Diary page for details), and I've heard, though not seen confirmation, that there will be a special screening to mark the event in London, but there is NO confirmation that any of the cast, that includes Ray, will be in attendance though, it sounds like it's more of a preview. To mark the news that "Street Kings 2:Motor City" is to be released on DVD in UK next month, I've included the trailer for this film again. Tomorrow Ray Liotta fans in the USA can watch "GoodFellas" on AMC at 5pm EDT, 2pm PDT and 11am HST (my thanks to Shelly for the TV information, I appreciate it). Times Union interviewed Ben Coccio, the screenwriter for "The Place Beyond the Pines", of seeing Ray Liotta in a film that Ben has written he stated "Ray Liotta shot a scene on Story Avenue, near where I grew up. Never in my wildest dreams did I think that a project I worked on would bring Ray Liotta to Niskayuna. It defies all logic" (excerpt from timesunion.com). Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 15th September 2011 A new trailer has been released for the film "13", now when this was first being made Ray Liotta was going to play the role of the detective, however for whatever reason Ray pulled from it, and another actor was given his role, now there are some websites, but not all, who state that Ray is in this film. I've seen the new trailer and Ray's name is NOT mentioned in it, and I think if he was in this then it would tell you within it, he might have gone back and done an uncredited role on it, but I'm not convinced that he would, and I remember at the time reading about Ray no longer being in the cast, also earlier this year I remember finding confirmation that Ray was not attached to this film, however I will keep checking and let you know right here on Ray Liotta Connection if I find anything further out. Another review for Ray's latest film release "The Entitled", and it is stated that "Ray Liotta obviously excels in his role". A new trailer for Ray Liotta's film "The Son of No One" has been released today, and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. Still staying with "The Son of No One", I've heard via my 'Ray-dar' that this film has recently premiered in Japan, and of course it is due to be released in USA in November (please go to Diary page for exact date). I'm thrilled to be able to include a film still from "The Son of No One" on Ray Liotta Connection....enjoy!!!! "The River Murders", which is due to be released on DVD next week in USA/Canada only, will be screened at the Magic Lantern Theatre in Spokane starting from tomorrow, and it will be shown for one week only. Still staying with "The River Murders", it is being reported that the name was changed from "The River Sorrow" by Sony, who of course now own the film itself. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
© Unknown 14th September 2011 As already mentioned earlier this month right here on Ray Liotta Connection, Ray Liotta's film "Snowmen" is to be released on DVD, (for more details please visit the Diary page), but it is worth noting that this film won the Audience Award at the 2010 Dallas International Film Festival. The reason behind the name change of "Things Fall Apart" was due to the fact that it was part of a copyright dispute as there is a novel by this name already, so "All Things Fall Apart" will become the new name of this film, as already mentioned earlier on Ray Liotta Connection. Another review has been published about Ray Liotta's latest released film "The Entitled", it's been called a 'taut little number, well-acted, fast-paced. A sure bet for suspense fans, "The Entitled" is a keeper' (yesweekly.com). Now still staying with "The Entitled", Yesweekly.com also interviewed Victor Garber, and he mentioned that he'd "known Ray Liotta socially and worked on stage with Stephen McHattie more years ago than we'd care to admit, and being professionals, were easily able to establish an onscreen camaraderie as men who have been best friends for decades". A BIG thanks ever so to every single person who visits Ray Liotta Connection, late last night this website welcomed its 36,000th visitor, I'm overwhelmed and so very thankful for your support!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 13th September 2011 I've been able to find another film still from Ray Liotta's new released film "The Entitled", and I'm thrilled to be able to include it on Ray Liotta Connection. I've also included, again, the official trailer for Ray Liotta's film "Snowmen", due to the fact that this has audio all the way through it, unlike the trailer that was included earlier this month. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
© Unknown 12th September 2011 I'm hearing on my 'Ray-dar' that "Stealing Sam", another new film starring our very own Ray Liotta is in the pre-production stage, so I will keep checking for a filming schedule of that, and let you know on Ray Liotta Connection. There is an article about SpongeBob, and it states that "WhoBob WhatPants???", which was the episode in which Ray Liotta was a guest star voice in, will premiere on Monday 13th October, it's not talking about this year, but the actual episode itself premiered on Monday 13th October 2008 in America, so hopefully that saves any confusion. My 'Ray-dar' is also hearing that Ray Liotta has been spotted out and about in even more places over the past few weeks when not filming. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 11th September 2011 It is being reported that one of Ray Liotta's newer films is getting a title change...."Breathless" is now being called "Little Pieces", I've changed the Filmography Section to show this, of course the name of this could change again, so I'll keep checking and let you know on Ray Liotta Connection. Still staying with "Little Pieces", a release date has been announced, please go to the Diary page of Ray Liotta Connection. Ray Liotta is still being spotted in New York, so he is still there filming scenes for "The Place Beyond the Pines". Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 10th September 2011 Filming continued in Electric City, Schenectady, New York this week on "The Place Beyond the Pines", it's not clear if Ray Liotta was there filming any scenes though. Staying with "The Place Beyond the Pines", it is being reported that the producers have gone over to the Toronto International Film Festival to show off a few choice scenes that have been completed so far for the film, only invited representatives of companies that bought foreign distribution rights, as well as other American buyers will gain access to the screening room to watch. The word though is that "The Place Beyond the Pines" is being looked upon as hot property, and it's on the way to becoming a major film both commercially and critically....great news!!!! Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 9th September 2011 Another review for Ray Liotta's latest released film "The Entitled" has been published, and states "The Entitled is a timely and extremely engrossing flick that spins a clever web of intrigue". Examiner.com interviewed actor Steve Blackwood, they ask him a series of questions, and one of them was "How important is training/instruction", his reply was "Training is essential - constant training. Ray Liotta says when he's not on a set he's in an acting class". There is some good feedback from people who have been lucky enough to watch "The Entitled", stating "it's a very good thriller, really worth watching"!!!! A Bistro in Schenectady, New York was celebrating welcoming Ray Liotta into their place a few weeks back. Just announced TODAY (an hour ago): Image Entertainment have bought the US rights to Ray Liotta's film "All Things Fall Apart", and a release date in cinema's is being talked about as possibly early 2012, with the film then being released on DVD/Blu-Ray after that, I'll keep checking and let you know when any release dates are announced on here. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 8th September 2011 A few announcements released today about some of Ray Liotta's films. Firstly, it would seem that Wanderlust has now been pushed back, and will open in cinema's in USA from February 2012, for the exact date please check out the Diary page on Ray Liotta Connection. Still staying with this film, there have been no announcements made about when it will be released in other countries, but I'll keep checking and let you know when I know on here. Also announced today: "Things Fall Apart" has now been changed to "All Things Fall Apart", no actual release dates mentioned but I can confirm that this film will be screened on 16th September 2011 during the Urbanworld Film Festival, followed by a Q&A with the director Mario Van Peebles and actress Lynn Whitfield, and it is being looked upon as the film's 'New York Premiere'. The festival itself starts on 14th September and closes on 18th September, and it will be held in midtown Manhattan, USA. There has been a review released on "Charlie St. Cloud" film, and it states that "Ray Liotta makes less than lengthy appearances, involvement here is a welcomed one". Clippers.com, the official website of the Los Angeles Clippers, has interviewed two of the most dedicated Clippers fans - Jesse and Ricky. Jesse recalls sitting next to Ray Liotta at the Clippers games too. Ray Liotta fans based in USA, you can watch "GoodFellas" today on AMC at 5pm EDT, 2pm PDT, and 11am HST (my thanks to Shelly for the information on "GoodFellas" on TV, I do appreciate it). Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 7th September 2011 Another review for "The Entitled", which was released in USA/Canada on DVD/Blu-Ray yesterday states that "Ray Liotta worth keeping an eye on", couldn't agree more!!!! Laura Vandervoort (who stars in "The Entitled") had an interview with movieweb.com, and of Ray Liotta she said "I have always admired Ray Liotta's work. I had two full days with Victor Garber, Stephen McHattie and Ray Liotta doing a scene, watching how good they are with improvising. Ray Liotta did intimidate me (laughs), but then I realised he's a really great guy as well. He had a lot of fun joking around with the crew and everything, it was fun." Still staying with "The Entitled", I've been able to find a film still, sadly not big photograph, but wanted to include because it is of our main man after all.... Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
© Unknown 6th September 2011 Today Ray Liotta's film "The Entitled" is released in USA/Canada on DVD/Blu-Ray, and more reviews have now been published stating "it's a decent thriller flick" - have you seen this film yet???? If you have, please email me your views on it, thanks. Well it would seem that Ray Liotta is still being spotted around the Schenectady area once again, and it's being stated that filming in the area for "The Place Beyond the Pines" is due to wrap the first week of October, and futher information is the Tropical Storm has not disrupted the filming schedule in any way at all. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta. 4th September 2011 A HUGE thanks ever so to every single person who visits Ray Liotta Connection, this website has now welcomed just over 35,000, your support is overwhelming and so much appreciated by me!!!! I have been able to find the DVD artwork for "Snowmen", and I'm pleased to be able to include that on Ray Liotta Connection. Ray Liotta has been spotted out and about, and I've been informed that he was spotted on a plane earlier today, so does this mean that filming for Ray has wrapped on "The Place Beyond the Pines", I'll keep checking and see if I can find any confirmation of that and let you know on here. Well this would seem to have not appeared on my, or any of my sources 'Ray-dar", but it would appear that Ray Liotta's film "Breathless" has wrapped, and filming was completed towards the end of July 2011, which means that Ray was even busier in July than first thought!!!! So it would seem when the announcement was released that Ray would be joining the cast of "Breathless" the day after filming wrapped. There is no release date been announced for this film however, but I will keep checking and let you know on Ray Liotta Connection. Please visit Ray Liotta Connection often for I check daily for the latest on Mr Ray Liotta.
